Library

More than a collection of books and media, the church library serves to support Redeemer’s mission statement.  Examples abound of how checked-out items have helped members and regular-attenders:

  • Answer questions about reaching others and growing personally.
  • Equip teachers, individuals and groups for Bible study, missions and ministry.
  • Bring biblical principles into classrooms and school projects.
  • Work through relationships, parenting, grief and changing life circumstances.
  • Inspire godly living with insights and examples.

The collection includes more than 6,000 books, CDs and DVDs for children, juniors, youth and adults. Books range from fiction to biography to nonfiction. In addition, there is a growing collection of family-friendly films and story audios.

The library offers a special reading program for all ages each summer. Each month, the Women’s Fellowship enjoys a review of a library book. Those leading seminars, mission conferences and special series can request customized lists of available library resources. Also, someone special can be recognized with a book given in honor or memoriam.

Libraries touch lives. Redeemer’s library does that each Sunday morning (open except during the morning service) and on Wednesday evening (from 6-7 during the school year).  Come join the adventure!
