The mission of Redeemer Bible Church is to glorify God, build up each other in love, and reach out to unbelievers to win them to Christ.
Our vision is to be a vibrant, growing church in the White Rock Lake area, fully committed to the Great Commission and to the Great Commandment as follows:
Worship
We seek to exalt the Triune God in worship and praise that is joyful, reverent, and heartfelt. Our goal is to experience the presence of God and to hear a word from God.
We desire worship that is uplifting and encouraging, that gives hope, and is characterized by grace. We seek to balance celebration with reflection, energetic worship with quiet praise, joy with contrition and repentance, encouragement with exhortation, and creativity with predictability.
We emphasize the awe, holiness, and justice of God as well as His grace, mercy, and love.
We will make full use of the great hymns and anthems of the church, both old and new, and include the reading of Scripture and prayer. We emphasize expository preaching in its many forms.
Nurture
We offer a full Sunday school ministry and child care. These provide solid, age-appropriate Bible teaching, including a body of truth to be learned at each age level. These classes also provide fellowship and nurture.
Adults are encouraged to become part of a small group that meets once or twice a month, and appropriate activity and fellowship groups have been developed for teens. Ministries for reaching, winning, and nurturing children and teens are emphasized.
Outreach
We seek to be a friendly church and a warm and welcoming church. The gospel of the grace of God permeates our ministries. We are committed to outreach locally and to the ends of the earth.
