New to RBC?

Dear Friend,

Thanks for taking the time to visit our website. Thousands of people today are looking for the right church home for their family. Many factors come into play in that choice: the church’s teachings about God, man, sin, salvation, the Christian life and more; its music; the philosophy of ministry; its outreach to the local community and to the world; the children’s ministry and youth program; the preaching content and style; and the list could go on and on.

At Redeemer, you can expect:

  • Preaching and teaching based upon God’s Word – the Bible
  • Participatory, worshipful singing and praise accompanied by gifted musicians and a choir
  • A place where your children will receive special attention
  • A place where you can learn the essentials for living the Christian life
  • A church that will welcome you no matter where you are in your spiritual pilgrimage

Take the time to search our website or, better still, drop by for a visit this week. If you have any questions, please give us an opportunity to provide you with an answer. We want to do everything we can to make you aware of the wonderful ministry that God has raised up at Redeemer. I believe you will find the spirit of our church contagious.

In the light of His glory and grace,

Douglas S. Hornok
Senior pastor

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I park?

Redeemer’s parking lot contains ample parking for our visitors and members. In addition, some members park along Lake Highlands Drive. Please do not park on Easton Road. Suggestion: on the Location Map, you can select the “Sat[ellite]” tab in the upper right and zoom in to get a photograph of the parking lot.

Where is the best place to enter the building?

We suggest that those new to the Redeemer campus enter either through the large doors that face Easton Road or through the double-glass doors near the playground. Greeters will be there to answer your questions and get you pointed in the right direction.

What care is offered for young children?

Redeemer offers clean, secure facilities that are staffed by screened, trained and friendly workers who serve children of all ages. Our volunteers are overseen by our director of Children’s Ministries.

Do you offer Children’s Church?

Yes. Children who are age 4 through second grade participate with their parents in the early part of the Sunday morning worship service and then are invited to a more active, age-appropriate lesson in Children’s Church.

When are Sunday worship services?

Sunday school for children, the youth group and Adult Bible Fellowships begin at 9:15 a.m. The worship service begins at 10:30 a.m. and ends at about 11:40 a.m.

What is Redeemer’s worship service like?

We are committed to glorifying God in our worship services through music, prayer, giving, reading of Scripture and the expository preaching of God’s Word. Congregational singing, led by our worship pastor, is a mix of traditional hymns and excellent choruses that turn our hearts toward God. Our sanctuary choir frequently leads us in worship, as do a variety of soloists, ensembles and special musicians. We typically celebrate communion on the first Sunday of each month.
